Just got this from a buddy with Tx Dept of Public Safety...
They’ve got cop shocks, cop motors but they don’t run on regular gas, lol.
Of course (as my friends have already commented) all we’d need would be sunglasses and a full tank of gas (cigarettes and mission-from-God optional per your needs) and to put our pennies together for the ultimate Uber-mobile or demolition-derby entrant. Guaranteed to carry lingering odors of hookers and sadness.
Of course we could always go around saving little girls... Think of the little girls, right?
What do you guys think?

Honestly, if you bought one, fixed it up (new paint, restore the seats, get it nice and clean) you could probably make your money back in a few months by using it for Uber.

Among other considerations. Probably a bit of both (NP/CP) in this case considering use/mileage/CrownVic/Panther-ness.

One of my buddies said it was perfect for Uber, but I’m thinking why paint it? Just put some matte black/white PlastiDip over it.
Drop a surplus yellow construction lightbar on top, put an official-looking Uber logo/badge on the doors, and folks on 6th Street would fight for a ride in the back at 2am, lol.
Wonder if they take all the cages out?.. ( probably )

Depends entirely on local market value, here in Portland I can get 08 P71s any day for less than $2K, when I lived in PA that wasn’t the case at all.

They have cop suspensions, but not cop motors. Same old 4.6 as the civilian cars. But they do get better gearing, and some have LSDs, which is good.
For those prices, I’d take a running one.

What do I think? I think if they were interested in public safety they would crush everyone rather than letting them on the street.
